Emma Gertken

Ponca City High School

Gertken is a class valedictorian and the captain of her basketball team. She earned All-Tournament Team honors for the Deer Creek and Ada tournaments. Gertken has been named a Trustee Scholar and was awarded a Power of And [sic] Scholarship. She is active in Student Council, Students Standing Strong, Youth Traffic Court and National Honor Society. She participates in St. Luke’s youth group as well as Pioneer Bible Church. In her free time, Gertken enjoys playing sports and riding jet skis. She plans to major in biochemistry and play basketball at Kansas Wesleyan University.

Savannah Valgora

Ponca City High School

Valgora is an Oklahoma State Regents Academic Scholar, a National Merit finalist and an Advanced Placement Scholar with Distinction. She is ranked in the top 10 of her class at Ponca City High School. She is a lead attorney for the Ponca City High School Mock Trial team and a varsity tennis athlete. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis with friends and cuddling with her cats, Salem and Biscuit. Valgora plans to attend Oklahoma State University in the fall, majoring in psychology pre-law.
