Morgan Beason

Altus High School

A National Merit finalist, Beason is a member of National Honor Society, the academic team and her school yearbook staff. She also plays on Altus High School’s varsity girls soccer team. She has received an academic letter and two academic bars as well as the Advanced Placement Scholar with Distinction Award. She has participated and placed in many interscholastic meets such as SWIM, Cameron, and the Tournament of Champions. Beason enjoys painting and drawing in her free time. Her aunt, Melissa O’Hara, was a 1995 Academic All-Stater. Beason plans to major in psychology at the University of Oklahoma.

Wyatt Jensen

Altus High School

A National Merit finalist, Jensen is champion in prepared public speaking for the Oklahoma Future Farmers of America. He serves as student body vice president and National Honor Society president. On the state level, Jensen has served as parliamentarian for Health Occupations Students of America, an intern for the state FFA Foundation, and an Oklahoma 4-H Ambassador. His roots in agriculture have cultivated his interest in biochemical research, for which his project on soil carbon sequestration became a national finalist. Aside from academics, Jensen owns a small business and enjoys making old family recipes at home. He plans to attend Harvard University.
