Happy 40th Birthday, OFE!

Celebrating 40 Years of Elevating Public Education in Oklahoma

For 40 years, the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence has elevated public education.

We couldn’t have done it without the support of thousands of Oklahoma public school champions who have donated, volunteered and assisted us in so many ways.

Here’s a look at what we’ve accomplished over the years!

$13.7 million

Dollars we and our partners have invested in grants and awards directly benefiting Oklahoma public school teachers and students.

OFE Fun Facts

A Statewide Honor
The 3,901 Academic All-Staters have come from 342 school districts.
Tough Choices
Wondering why OFE has an odd number of All-Staters? Legend has it that the 1988 selection committee couldn't manage to narrow it down past 101. These days, we insist on an even 100!
A Family Tradition
There are two husband and wife duos among our Medal for Excellence recipients: Michael and Jan McClaren and Jason and Alissa Proctor.
