Colonial American History Materials
Available for Check-Out

A student demonstrates how to play a hoop game.A variety of colonial American history educational materials are available to Oklahoma teachers to check out from the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence. The educational resources were made possible several years ago through funding from the late Edward C. Joullian, founder and sponsor of the foundation’s Colonial Williamsburg history programs.

“Many schools borrow the materials to use for colonial history fairs or to enhance hands-on learning in their classrooms,” said OFE Communications Director Brenda Wheelock, who oversees the collection.

The resources include historic games, instruments, artifacts, books, DVDs and compact discs. Schools are responsible for arranging pick-up of items or for paying any shipping. To check out materials, contact Brenda Wheelock at (405) 236-0006 or fax the attached order form and check-out agreement to Brenda at (405) 236-8590.
